Module 1 My First Day at Senior High教学设计 一、教学内容分析 本课是高中英语选修八第一模块的一篇阅读课,新教材阅读课的特点是信息量大,时代性强,内容新颖。教师在教材处理时要根据这些特点,充分调动学生学习语言的兴趣,发挥他们自主学习的积极性、主动性,提高学生在阅读中获取信息、处理信息和运用信息的能力。我在教学中将淡化语言点和语法知识的简单传授,采用任务型教学法和小组合作探究学习法,从而扩大课堂的语料输进量及学生的语言输出量。

二、学习者分析 在目前学生数普遍过多的情况下,如果按照传统的方法进行教学,学生很少有语言实践和交流的机会,很难主动参与课堂活动,从而影响了学生语言运用能力的培养;利用学案及小组合作的教学形式,使学生对本话题内容提前有所了解。同时,使班上更多的学生在同一时间内直接参与到交流活动中来,提供一种主动的学习方式,营造良好的情感气氛,使学生有更多的机会轻松、自由地表达自己的观点,并能发挥更多的自主性,从而培养学生的英语思维习惯,提高他们运用语言的能力,达到学习语言的目的。

根据班级规模以及学生英语水平的不同,把学生分成若干学习小组,每组4至5人,课前下发一份学案和小组评价表略。学案要求组内合作完成,课后组内对这节课的完成情况对本组成员做以评价。

三、教学目标 (一 认知目标 1.充分理解课文大意并完成所给的任务。

2.学会使用阅读策略(skimming and scanning)来阅读和理解课文 3.能够复述课文 (二)情感目标 抱着开放的态度了解其他国家南极科考和科学发展水平的成果。

(三)智力目标 在运用完成阅读任务的过程中培养学生的观察力、分析力、想象力和自学能力,帮助学生进步思维能力和运用英语的综合能力,激发创造能力。

四、教学手段 1、多媒体辅助将本课所需要的图片、文字、图表和音乐制成CAI软件使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景。

2、测试性和非测试性评价本课我将各种活动设计成小组活动和当堂检测等测试性评价手段帮助老师了解学生的学习效果。同时让学生填写课堂自我评价表等非测试性评价手段,帮助学生学会自主学习,学会与人合作,培养创新意识以及具备科学的价值观。

五、教学过程设计 Step1 Present Learning goals 1m 1. To grasp the key words and expressions 2. To fully understand the passage, improve reading skills and develop all-round abilities 3. To learn about the achievements of other countries’ scientific research into Antarctica and their development level of science with an open attitude. Step3 Fast reading(泛读)教学时间10m 设计意图任务型和活动型教学法 任务1先独自快速限时3 minutes阅读,把阅读课文作为整体来处理,检查学生对课文中的事实的表层理解,让学生对文章有一个了解。然后通过小组活动,交流合作。本环节难度不高,即便学困生也能在其小组成员的帮助下完成此任务。成功给人以最大的满足,产生自豪感,增强学习毅力。更重要的是总结出他们在阅读中所用的方法略读(skimming to get the heading of each paragraph) Read the passage quickly and match the heading with each paragraph。
